CHOOSE THE HABIT OF BEING PROACTIVE

 

Everyone of us is born for a reason. Everyone of us is born in the same way. Everyone went  through different phases of life when one grew.For some of us it was the most precious, for some challenging well for some a  bitter one.

Everyone is a special gift, everyone has many special things within. But have you wondered why we don’t find them easily to grow and bloom faster in life? It is all because  beautiful things are found with difficulties just like the case of a mother delivering her child after nine months and nine days of their bond. If it was a bond of just one day after she knowing she was pregnant and delivering the baby the next day, I bet there would never be emotions and that desperate craving towards the baby.

As we all grow , we will all come to a point where in we start finding ourselves nowhere in this world. We may find ourselves locked behind by restrictions and circumstances or by disease or by a different tragedy. But, finally as we all are familiar with the quote”Life is 10 % what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.”

This  can be said in other words as  proactive. No man in this world would have succeeded without the attitude of proactiveness. But you know what? some people are lucky enough, even though they lack proactiveness within them God would give them beautiful people to awaken them. But unfortunately only a few ones are lucky.

As we speak about proactive it all depends on oneself .It is that moment if we apply at the precise time which makes us fly high throughout the last of ones life. I would like to share the life story of my most touched inspirational models Mr Derek Redmond and Miss Lizzie Velasquez. They both in their difficult phase of life never gave up on themselves. You know what? In this world if you don’t stand up for yourself no one ever will nor no one can. As finally it is your life. One’s  life isn’t one’s  hands since birth to death all that we put in is the essense which we leave for this world during our last journey.

As we come back to Derek Redmond and Lizzie  I would like to share their life story in short so that it also touches you as I was touched deeply .

Derek Redmond was the poor little boy from Africa who had a beautiful dream as a child to become an athlete. He worked day in and day out to accomplish his dream. One day he got the wonderful chance to prove himself  by the opportunity to participate in Olympics to represent his country and his people. It was like a golden opportunity to him. No doubt, on the Olympic day with all his strength and all his might he owned first positions in all the races to move ahead for the final. As the final game in  400 metres  arrived for the last round  everyone was damn sure yes Derek will crown Africa. Everyone cheered for him 1 2 3....

The final race began as usual Derek put behind everybody and began running. He ran with all his might a few metres away from the final goal point. He fell down suddenly. He broke out himself. He cried for a moment closing his eyes and covering his face. He couldn’t bear that pain . After 60 seconds he opened his eyes, I repeat 60 seconds, just imagine the pain he had gone through. That one minute actually turned around everything. Every athlete who were running behind him. Everybody reached the goal post.

I admire his  next reaction his actually it was a major leg muscular breakdown. With that severe pain he got up from the ground and slowly, slowly he started moving towards the final goal destination. In that situation he couldn’t even see properly. To his surprise his father joined him opposing all the restrictions on the ground and held him giving him support in one side and told him will finish the race together. He said, daddy thank you! After some time as they both was supposed to reach the goal destination his dad said you can do it my son few steps to go to accomplish your dreams . With the full pain and heavy heart he moved on and finished the race. Even though he couldn’t fulfil the dream to become first in Olympics he won the hearts of all the people and was awarded many rewards all over the world than  the one who  had secured first in that race. Even though no one of that time wasnt  interested in Olympics but even their heart and mind would smile by hearing the name of Derek. He was that popular. As I mentioned earlier if Derek wouldn’t show that courtesy to get up from that fall to reach his goal leaving behind all the pain, that wake up, that action made him to succeed further in life.

He actually wanted to become athlete but he couldn’t due to that drastic injury today he is a world famous motivational speaker. We all have a special dream some may get it but I wanna tell the ones who couldn’t. You know what, God want you to have the best. That is the only reason you are in another show which you never dreamt off and trust me one day you will be the most happiest, satisfied and thankful person to God for who you are! For that’s life and God love you more.

As we come to the second personality Miss Lizzie . She was born at the 7th month but was caught by a disease in which no fat could stay in her body. As she grew, her body  and her appearance seemed to look scary. She never noticed in her childhood as she grew she became conscious about her weakness. Her thoughts regarding herself would always make her feel sad and low. One fine day it so happened that a video of hers was posted in social media on her and was titled as the ugliest woman of world by the seniors of her college .While scrolling the YouTube this came to her notice that the video was on her and the comments below which was heart breaking and even exclaimed her to die. All these caught her nerves she decided to suicide just before she quitting  on herself and was about to harm her an inner voice  mingled in her heart   and yes magic did happen . That very moment she took her phone, created a YouTube channel and posted her first video saying my life is given by God for a beautiful purpose for me to make out of it and yes! I will show you all. For some this video touched their hearts  for some again their rude voice  tortured her to die but she never gave up. As she said, the next day  she got  the opportunity for an interview with TEDx, that interview yes! Really changed her life . Her talk touched the hearts of people .She won herself. Today she is one of the famous motivational an catchy speaker all over the world.

Beauty is within us . When storms hit our life trust me there would be no one around, not even your dear ones, there would be some if you are  lucky enough, but it’s exceptional though. In life when you crave for love or to be loved my dear blindly love yourself, make yourself proactive, speak to yourself, motivate yourself, when you fall pick yourself up and have faith in God.

No one will be with you until you have something pleasing in your life. People are actually rude, but as St. Mother Teresa said “If you judge others there would be no time to love them.” You are born for a reason which can be established only by you. Blossom happily wherever you are  there would be hills and slopes but if you trust yourself you will , every pain has a  again before the end of life. If you are there to pick up yourself from falls of  life trust me no one can keep you behind...!
